Who came up with the idea to add booze to this place.  That wasn't a good idea from the beginning.  Although it would be fun to smack someone upside the head with the Wack-a-Mole hammer.   [laugh]

I've been more times than i care to remember. If there ever existed a placed that needs the mind numbing effect of alcohol, its Chuck-e-cheese.

If they didnt sell it, the patrons would be sneaking it in.

I cant think of a place more closer to hell on earth  than Chuck E Cheese.

There actually is a place here in town (other than Chucks) that consists of a huge clustermake the beast with two backs of tubes and other such amusements that allows (and encourages, actually) adults.

Would that place happen to be called "John's Incredible Pizza" ???

It's a chain out here in Cali that's like Chuck E Cheeses on steroids.

Go find Tim Wilson's "Chuck-E-Cheese Hell" on Youtube...  It'll fit nicely in this thread!

No, it's some place with a goofy ass name I can never remember.  I don't think it's a franchise, but I could be wrong.  They exist primarily for entertainment, though there is a shitty little snack bar you can order odds and ends from.

+ 68,000 on the extravaganza.  Ball pits and brews

Quote"In Milwaukee, the store posted a sign outlining a dress code that prohibits what it calls "gang-style apparel." That location also implemented a code of conduct that prohibits knives, chains, screwdrivers and glass cutters."

"To appeal to adults, about 70% of the chain's locations serve wine and beer....Milwaukee Alderman Tony Zielinski called for the removal of Chuck E. Cheese's beer-and-wine license in 2006 after he received police notification and complaints from constituents about fighting there. The company stationed armed security guards inside the restaurant in an effort to make it safer.

'It was like something out of a Quentin Tarantino film,' says Mr. Zielinski, referring to the "Pulp Fiction" director. 'What parent is going to take their kids to a place where there is alcohol and pistols being brandished?'

"Mr. Huston says the chain's "broad demographic appeal" means that it has restaurants in what he described as "tougher areas" where there is more potential for crime."

When in Rome I guess.   [roll]

Seriously who the hell is surprised that stores that are in "tougher areas" and serve alcohol:
A.  needs an ENFORCED RULE to not to bring knives, chains, screwdrivers and glass cutters to a children's restaurant (WTF?)
B.  fights break out.

We take my kids once or twice a year and I've not seen anything like this.  Then again I'm in the burbs so what the hell do I know.

I went there once, about 20 years ago. Really really bad pizza. That's why I don't go to Chuck E Cheese.
