We are (on Harleys ). And they do(work).
But unless there is some significantly (relatively speaking) lean angle and acceleration out of the corner - they don't work - otherwise they're great
On topic - I like that faring - can't wait to see it on your bike.
Self-cancelling signals are a great idea for street bikes. I wasn't aware that anyone did them at all. Leave it to cutting-edge HD to pioneer that technology. So, I have a Thrux mini fairing on the way. Should be here in 2 weeks and I'll try to do the install quickly after that. Thanks for the replies.

Some spiffy pieces for Triumph builds on that site. I have already ordered the regular style Thrux fairing rather than this taller one. Hopefully it'll arrive soon so i can get to mounting it up on the Monster. Cheers, Mark

Be sure to post pics! Unfortunately I just got a call from the Triumph dealer that the fairing they brought in for me is the wrong one. It'll be another +2 weeks before they receive the right one and i've had a chance to install it.

Incredibly, the Triumph dealer received the wrong fairing AGAIN! This time they actually sent it to me. It's a Bonneville fairing which I test-fitted before I noticed it was not the Thruxton fairing. It's going back to the Triumph dealer. Good news: the Monster and Thruxton/Bonneville headlights are the same size and the brackets match up almost perfectly. When I eventually receive the correct fairing the install will be easy.

I've ordered parts from 1/2 way around the world that have taken much less time to get here. Frustrating. Those Tank Shop aluminum parts are really nice, but not quite the look I'm after with my bike. A bit too flash. You'll see when the fairing is fitted... the wait will be worth it!

Markus, any progress on the mini fairing? I'd love to see how she looks mocked up.

May your head gasket develop premature failure, your carb get gummed up, and your side stand fall short.

Hi Bellagio. I still haven't received the replacement Thruxton fairing yet. Should be here in the next couple of days so as soon as it arrives I'll do a test-fit and snap some pics.

The fairing arrived this morning! I did a quick test fit this afternoon and I think it looks terrific. As was the case with the Bonneville fairing, the Thruxton one fits nearly perfectly. I'll need to fab up a lower bracket and trim away some of the fairing material so it clears the turn signals (had to unhook them to test-fit the fairing). I thought there would be a clearance problem with my side damper but that seems to clear fine at full turn. Nice! I'll be sanding off the checkerboard and re-clearing it. Might paint it the same colour at the rest of the bodywork although I'm not sure yet. As you can see in the pics, there's lot of snow on the ground so I have time to make that decision before spring's here. Please excuse the messy garage...
