Triumph Thruxton Mini Headlight Fairing (Now w/Pics)

It looks like we're camping next to the clue this year. Much cheaper option. There's a abbreviate adventitious I ability go to Laguna, but that's still up in the air. You're traveling to charge an alibi to arch further south to extend your benumbed season.

So I posted a while ago about putting a thruxton style fairing on that I ordered from Airtech.  Well after being too busy riding all summer I finally got the time to take it out of the box and start fitting it.  I'll post some pics tonight after I snap a few, but I think its going to look pretty good.  I kind of regret keeping my stock signals b/c this means I have to cut into the fairing.  Oh well, live and learn.  What would you guys suggest using to make up the space between the existing fairing/headlight bracket and the wider fairing?  I was thinking about getting rubber washers to fill the void.  Any advice would be appreciated.  Thanks.

goodedj: The Triumph fairing came with some rubber spacers which took up the distance between the stock headlight mount brackets and the fairing mount points. I'd suggest you get your hands on some similar ones to these. They'll be availabe in many diameters from your local hardware store.


Have you already trimmed the fairing to accomodate the stock signals? If not, you might consider upgrading the signals to aftermarket ones so you can avoid cutting the fairing up. Just a thought.

I know this has gone quiet but I just wanted to get some advice on this, and Markus you seem like you've got some experience

from ebay (which by the way, the person is using photoshoped pics of you bike btw) and just got it in my hands, it is a fiberglass replica that seems to be just a little bit bigger than yours. My question is, How did you secure the bottom of the fairing? did you have to drill an additional hole, or was there already a hole there.
