Sucks having an oil tank with your name on it.

Was heating as expensive in OR?

i dont think so.
it was natural gas, piped into the house, so the bill came every month instead of whenever they fill the tank.

no, but i can say rental house, with only a piss poor fire place for alternative heat.
no doubt about it, when buying a house, i will be on the lookout for alternative heat sources.

I NEED A 4WD TRUCK!

I was sick the past 2 days and didn't go to school. So, since my truck sat, I had ice build up behind my tires. Pulled in to a space normally but it was on a slight downward slope.

Long story short, it took me 15 minutes to get out of my parking spot today!

get some bags of tube sand for the back of your truck  Wink

you can break into them when traction is needed and the extra weight will be good too  waytogo

I hear ya'!  Since I moved hear from CO with no job (my wife is the bread-winner) we decided not to buy yet, instead we(she) rented a 3500 square foot lake home with oil heat and a worthless/pretty to look at fireplace.  The first month oil bill was $400.  I was like WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT!!!!!!!!!!  Even last Jan in CO when we had a cold snap + Holidays + Xmas lights and all that extra this time of year crap...our entire utility bill (gas, water, wastewater, and electric was only $175!!!!!   This oil heat SUCKS!!!!  Or the fact that we are livining in a house that could easily handle the Brady Bunch!!!  Theres literally a whole other side of the house and basement (except for brewery) thats not used! I'd hate to see how much this place used if I wasn't a thermostat natzi!!!  Oh well I'm sure I'll appreciate the property and lakefron once it warms up.  Plus it will be a chill pad to have MOTOGP/SBK race day BBQ's and clambakes!  I'll quit pregnant dogin' for now, I just wish it's warm the F#%K up!!!!!
