Mwoooaaaaarrrrgggghhhaaahhhaaahhaaaa.
I reckon this'd be fun.
If you can catch me Orificer I will then pull over.
yep, vee two have built a s/c s2r. since cathcart rode that one, its had a few changes. but the first couple of kits got sent to europe just before crissy for trial. Its aimed at the euro market, thats why it has the standard exhaust ect.
Its a hoot to ride, makes power similar to a 4V'er... higher in the rev range. I've riden it heaps, no dramas keeping up to 4Ver's until the high end!
I've suggested to the boss that we have to put some open pipes on it to see what it does! hopefully that'll happen one day!
I think its planned to be sold around the 6 grand mark, but not entirely sure. I'm also thinkin (hey!! I'm not the sales guy, I'm the machinist!) thats not bad bang for buck.... we fitted a big bore, cams and hi comp pistons to an s2r for similar money and it didn't make nowhere near the hp of the S/Ced one thats got standard zorsts.
again, i'm not the sales guy, but veetwo have performance cams for the s2r, I think they're around $800

Hi monsta,
I've been watching this s/c with interest. I have a M1000DS.S and have been wondering if it would be able to be fitted. AFAIK it is a similar engine (Although, I guess the swingarm mount may be different because of the double sided swingarm on mine as compared to a single sided on the s2r).
I'd be interested to know.
Cheers,
G

I couldn't be sure. It'll fit the motor, but the plenum is clamped to the frame and the pulley sticks out the side the frame. So if the frame is different it wont fit and ducati have changed the frames on monster a few times. Of course, it could be fitted if it was different but it would be a one off job and would cost more than just a bolt on kit. The same supercharger unit has been fitted to lots of other bikes including a 996 the 999 squalo heaps of harleys and you should see the hypermotard!
cant wait to ride that!

Hey hey hey, i think we'll stop this cheek right now!! No way i'm buying carbon wheels for the monster. Maybe for the 848 when i buy it
Front sprocket is the level i'm looking at. How much are cams though?
Hey White, I've been doing wheel research....you can buy wheels for your s2r and they will go onto the 848 when you buy it...so no money lost. BST of forged Marchesini's!!!!!
go buy !
