Hey all you 750 monster and sport owners, what sort of gas mileage do you get?  If you can, list your bikes:

year

mods

Type of riding (travel, spirited, track day)

Thanks!

Year:  '99 M750 Dark (but yellow now)
Mods:  Termignoni slip-ons, +2 rear sprocket

Riding easy (solo and 2-up)- 45-50mph
Commuting (stop & go, speeds around 35mph etc, solo) - 30-35mpg
Riding hard, (not track, lots of throttle, solo & 2-up) - 35-40mpg

Note - Mine runs pretty rich and could probably stand to be leaned out a little and I might pick up a mile or two to the gallon

My 750 engine is extensively modified: FCR carbs, K&N air filter, open air box, flowed heads, supersport cams, 795 big bore kit, balanced and polished crank, corella rods, 2 into 1 performance exhaust, nickels flywheel.  I know that my air/fuel mixture is spot on.  I get 50-60 mpg.  Seems that the FCRs are very efficient and perhaps the balanced crank cuts down on energy lost to vibration.  Just a guess as to why I get great fuel mileage.
