I loved hearing the students clap when their teachers and fellow students won awards... I loved seeing the smiles on the kids faces when their names were called, and I love hearing lms success stories.
you're just being sappy and introspective...

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

albeit late 8)

Never too late. My mom became a high school science teacher at 55 and finished out her "working career" doing that.

And oddly a good buddy of mine who'd been doing general contractor work for the last 20 years is now a teacher as well.

Honestly, I think finding out how much the "private sector" can blow donkey chunks makes for a better teacher.

Hell, I'd do it if not for the whole "I'm a greedy souless bastard" thing  ;D
I own several motorcycles. I have owned lots of motorcycles. And have bolted and/or modified lots of crap to said motorcycles...
