The whole point of a "Personal Message" (PM) is that it's PERSONAL and shouldn't be posted for all to see...

Hey, if it's in my inbox, it's mine to do with as I please.  So, don't write snaky letters to me if you expect them to private.

An old rule of thumb said, "Don't right anything in a letter that you don't want to see in the newspaper."

Simple enough.

That's, uh, great. Posting that same personal message up so you can basically lay into the person is pretty lame.
Any particular reason you couldn't just write back to kopfjager?

If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Actually, a few reasons.

1)  I don't have a personal relationship with him. [Edit: And I'm not going to develop a personal/private relationship with one getting snarky with me via my inbox.]
2)  The heart of my critique of his PM is that he's personalizing the discussion (id est, taking personal offense [and seeking to return it] because someone is disgusted by what he evidently likes.)
3)  It suited me to do so.

2)  I haven't seen their show in years because, well, they are all the same show really: Paulie's late; Paulie's here; Senior yells; everyone goes to the fair, or to a shooting range, or something totally unrelated to the build of the week; back to work, the bike is behind schedule.  Same drill, every show.  Yawn.  Then they roll out a piece of crap machine.

Hey! You ruined the next episode for me! [laugh]

I'm here for a good time, but not a long time.

Got Duc

Hey two pages ago I called for the lock on it.

It is time....
Why do roaches always die on their back?

That because the survivors flip them over to steal their sneakers and wallets.

Good one.  Now that's what I call raising the bar.

On a serous note:

Why do you have so much emotional investment in defending the honor of the work of the OCC boys?  I mean, why do you care that I (and others) can't stand their stuff to the point that you initiate personal jabs?

Lighten up already.
