Oh, they tried to help me out. Poor poor little girl on a motorcycle. After splashing some fuel on Mother's bike (which I was riding), I made him relinquish the nozzle. Only I'm allowed to mess up his bike.

i pumped gas all through high school.  it wasn't required, we just had a full serve pump at the station i worked at.  it was a cake job...

i couldn't imagine someone pumping gas for me.

F-ing Christ!!! it's a 1/4 turn cap and then it clicks when it is tight, you don't have to spin it 5 full make the beast with two backsing rotations listening to the pretty click!

I always forget until I have to wait 20 minutes for gas every time I make a trip through NJ.  I have never had to stop on a motorcycle.  I would be flipping out if some guy spilled gas all over my bike.

Experienced one driving out of the NW last summer. I forgot they had them in OR. 

I haven't seen a gas station attendant since 1990.  My ex-gf in Lansing never pumped gas for herself.    I'm sure her azz is still lazy and now fat as well!

i remember the when i drove through OR.  i stopped to get gas and thought it was kinda wierd that every1 was just sitting in thier cars, but i just got out and started pumping. well the guy on the other side starts telling me "You cant do that." i just ignored him, then as im finishing up, some kid comes up and tells me that im not allowed to pump gas. haha. he really expected me to wait that entire time? well i handed him the nozzle, jumped in my car and took off with a full tank of gas.

I grew up in NJ and almost always pumped my own gas for the 2-3 years I drove in that state - nobody ever said a word to me about it.
