At the risk of opening my mouth and jumping in with both feet:

I think that if the rules had been phased in more gradually, and you'd seen these designs evolve over the next five years, it wouldn't be such an issue.

That said, the sudden change is a bit jarring.

The new front wing looks like a giant Mach 3 razor with wheels......no curb hopping with that thing poking out.....looks even more fragile that F1 wings normally are.  Are they trying to keep guys off of each other and the sides of the track?

I thought I read somewhere that the track was wider but I might have just got that confused with something else (gossip).

I think, other than the rear wing, the cars look awesome. The winglets and crap adorning the cars last year were horrible, one of the worst offenders:

 vomit

I'm glad to see them gone.

+1. I hated all the little winglets. I like a nice, clean looking F-1 car. Like a Lotus 49 or Maserati 250F

Or, if I must, the cars of the late 80's-mid 90's were cool.

yeah... they are different
i look at them at one angle and like them, then i look at another and hate them (mostly that rear wing).
