I'd have to say for mainstream everyday beer for me would be Bass Ale.

If we are going with smaller Craft Brews. I would Drink Dogfish 60 Minute IPA.

I haven't had Newky Brown since I was a kid (well, if I'm not a kid anymore). I'll put that on the shopping list. [thumbsup]

I'll try it warm in a snifter...

And where pray Wark did you consume the nector known as Newky Brown   [drink]

For everyday, and drinking multiple at a time, I agree with a Coors or a High Life.

Shiner Bock, the national beer of the Republic of Texas. Great with food, great by itself, regardless of the weather. This is my daily drinker.

Well I'd normally say Guinness but if I'm limited to the bottle/can versions I think I'd go with New Belgium 1554

i think i would cry. then i would start drinking a lot more rum and whiskey to soothe the pain.

my immediaate reaction is Pocono Lager, but I can't seem to find it very often if at all. it's been over a year since i last saw it and it's not brewed that far away.
so in order to actually have beer i would go with my standard utility beer, Yeungling Lager. but it better not come from the florida plant.
Life, alas is very drear. Up with the glass and down with the beer!

Bridgeport "Blue Heron". It's a very nice example of a Northwest Pale Ale.

I was drinking Modelo Especial for a while.  It's a bit on sweet side like a lot of Mexican beers.  I also like Negro Modelo, but I think people discovered it, and it went up in price.  It is good, but I wouldn't pay microbrew prices for it every day.  I have to go with Guinness as my desert island beer.

Newcastle Brown  [thumbsup]

I ordered one of those in a pub in England, and I got an eye roll.  I was served a Tiger or something instead, which was good (and warm).  I thought Newcastle is to England as Fosters is to Australia?
