How does that not surprise me.   [roll]

They always rule in favor of the buyer.

Sellers get little to know protection, considering the buyer is always right......at least in the eyes of Paypal and Ebay.

Heaven forbid a buyer being a manipulative make the beast with two backs.

Funny......this is not the first time the buyer of the ipod has disputed a purchase as "not being as described"

Now that I think of it I had the same thing happen to me. I sold an engine cover from a  Suzuki SV. It was undamaged, but the paint was flaking and one of the access plugs was seized. I told the buyer about it beforehand, detailing the condition and the seized bolt, before he put his money down.

When he got it he threw a hissy fit and demanded a refund - without returning the part. I haggled a bit, then gave in when PP was about to give me shit. I refunded him ALL 20$ he paid for a 300$ piece, but not the shipping. I hope that turd got run off the road.

If you drive the nicest car in the neighborhood, work in a cash business, and don't pay taxes, you're either a preacher or a drug dealer...

I've purchased two things on Ebay.  Used a friends account.  No problems with those items, but it's stories like these that keep me from opening an account.  Too tempting to get taken by some crook...

I've had good luck so far.  It's a good place to find things that can be really hard to find.  The motorcycle I bought on there was close enough for me to see before-hand.

Yeah...I won't go into the negative feedback dispute I lost even after providing EBay proof that th buyer threatened me both physically and with negative feedback.

After I sent all emails to EBay, their response...Your request for negative feedback removal has been denied. It would be unfair of EBay not to let parties express their feelings about the transaction they had.

HEY make the beast with two backsTARDS!!!! YOU ARE UNFAIR TO THE SELLER BY NOT LETTING THEM LET THE WORLD KNOW WHAT KIND OF A DOUCHEBAG THAT GUY WAS!!!

make the beast with two backs EBay and the horse it bought at auction that it rode in on.
