Also am going to mount it so it's is flat (parallel with the ground) to clean up the lines.

This headlight looks promising!

I think whe whole front setup would look better if
instruments were a bit up and headlight a bit closer to the forks.
Sticks out abit IMHO.

Sweet bike.  Where did you get those clip ons from?  How is the reach compared to the stock bars?  Do they limit turning radius, or did you adjust them so that they fit in the air intakes on the side when fully turned?  Thanks.

Cycle Cat made a very similar clip-on for the multi-stroodle, but it has a 53mm diameter.  3.5" rise and infinitely adjustable down angle.  A much nicer clip-on IMHO. Usable but you have to shim.  You see them on ebay and I think they are available at Oncycles http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=18737.0

Cycle cat makes a 50mm clip as well, but it mounts the bar in the same plane as the fork, not in front of it as in the picture above.

There has been some debate about whether the Oncycle stuff is new production or just a whole bunch of leftovers in the thread I mention and this one http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=18137.0.  Regardless, if you go over there and browse, they have tons of Cycle Cat clip-ons in stock.  They have 3 different 50mm clips for ducatis in stock.  They also have the 53mm multi-stroodle clip if you have SBK forks and need a bunch of rise.

No worries.  I think they make (made, whatever) the best clip on going both for style and adjustability.

yes, no chip yet, am examing options now...anyone have any ideas (don't wanna spend the dough for the termi chip)

does run a little rough now, but not sure if that is because of the coil issue or what

the dash shroud is one of the ugliest things on the bike, i agree. i took it off and wrapped the wires a bit.

my dash is mounted flat, i just used a couple brackets that bolt underneath the triple and then to the dash itself, all the holes were already there.

as for mounting the clipons and light, nothing weird at all, just bolted it all on.

the bars dont come anywhere near the tank at full lock. actually the pic above IS at full lock.
