I'm fine - I'm 600miles away from those fires, and the ones closer to me are not nearly so bad - but I'm particularly touched by this, in two hours yesterday afternoon I got news of three houses belonging to people I know being lost... No loss of life amongst my social circle, but three homes destroyed...

The number keeps climbing everytime I see it!! 

I believe it was 84 yesterday.   :-[

having lived through the san diego fires in 2003 and 2007, everyone facing this has my deepest sympathy.  i wouldn't
wish that on anyone.

Yeah. Sick bastards.

What a horrible thing to go through - all those homes, and worse, such a high death toll  :'(. Glad you and yours are safe big.
