I've got a neighbor that keeps me well informed of happenings. He's got a nice scanner and keeps tabs on the all the agencies moving around if they use normal radio frequencies. It's pretty amazing some of the things that go on. Neighborhoods you thought would never have drug users has a sizable number and possible a dealer too ~

i call bs on this.

these are just so outlandish of stories that its insane. someone on your block must have a lot of time on their hands to make stuff up about other people.

afterall, most people are basically boring and have boring lives that will amount to nothing, yours truly included.

but i have to say, you sound like you live on a really fun block, except for the whole, selling crack and such that is basically unacceptable.

wow. that's intense man. and not normal for all neighborhoods. yes, all hoods have some shit going on, but the consistency and intensity of your shit is "above average" imo...

Everything I wrote in the original post is ABSOLUTELY TRUE! I personally witnessed the police raid on the older couples house, and the incident with the shotgun. While I didn't(thank god) see the cheating going on, that was the reason given for the shotgun incident. As for the house fire, I had to go in today and take ppics of the damage, so proof is available. Believe me, I wouldn't make this shit up.

I have a nut-case that lives across the street from me (I didn't really know what an actual crazy person

was until I met this one) and it is not fun.

I almost want to move , however I think she will be evicted soon.

this is the funniest thread.

just bc everything is so outlandish. if you put your street into a movie about what happened, people would believe the matrix story more than the whole swingers burn the house down/car in the front yard/3rd neighbor offering his wife/ then the whole lesbian ducati person, then the whole crack house being taken away, etc.

and you are right most people just work, come home, chill out with family have some fun enjoy themselves stay healthy if possible, with any luck nothing really bad happens nothing really amazing happens (ie, win the 300million dollar lottery, etc), and repeat for the next 50 years.

My girl assured me there's a well known unwritten rule that says anything told to you in confidence automatically meant your significant other gets told as well...

(This is the same girl that's currently going round trying to work out who she needs to tell "Hey, remember I told you X was pregnant but not to tell anybody, well she's miscarried... Don't tell anybody that either...")

Well, I lived in a village in VT with maybe 1000 people and man there were some damn good stories. Waitress pregnant by the preacher. Bar owner caught dry humping waitress. Friend get caught having affair with other friend's wife, wife becomes lesbian after friend tries three-way.

Honestly, living here in the "hip", "happening" city of SF is pretty boring in comparison.

Small towns really are "twin peaks" freaky. I think there's less to do so people make their own soap operas.
