this has taken an ugly ugly turn.

i called to add the triumph to my policy with usaa and i was sent to progressive. no warning, i got nothing i the mail, no e-mails were sent. they jsut stopped writing policies for bikes.
WTF #1

for less coverage i was quoted almost twice as much.
WTF#2

it now looks like they will stop renewing policies that are already there. once again, no warnng, no calls, e-mails, letters, nothing.
The whole reason i moved everything i could to them was because they were cheap and easy to deal with. now i have to go out and deal with the other companies that rape me for my chosen method of conveyance.
WTF #3

i'm ready to hurt someone now.

Sounds like you have to deal with a bunch of.....pirates.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Check with GEICO, I've got two fairly new vehicles with full coverage, another car with minimums, and two bikes with minimums for under $100/month ~

i checked around with all the major places, and a few smaller ones. Geico gave me the best quote and feeling, though i'm still scared to see what will happen should something go wrong.

I've heard so many horror stories about the whole insurance thing and usaa has always been absolutely wonderful that i'm just not ready to trust someone else right now.

so if i need to file a claim and i have issues with them, that gecko will make a nice wallet or keychain.

i pick it up tomorrow! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

i feel like the proverbial kid at christmas.

I've never had to file a claim, so no FHE there.  Although, I did have no problem adding my fiancée on ALL my vehicles as an authorized driver complete with documentation.  Nationwide is the only insurance that I've ever had to file a claim with and had no problem, but the will no longer insure me on a motorcycle due to said claim ~

They wont insure you because of one claim??  Good to know that they are like that so I never deal with them.  God I hate insurance companies.
Who insures the FDIC?

It probably wasn't the claim, but the citations issued.  Even though they were dropped.
