ciao a tutti -

a quick posting here to advise all that nichols is having their grand opening of nichols motorsports ... should be a fun time for all who attend, even if your not in the market for a scooter.

You are cordially invited to our Grand Opening Celebration
when: Saturday • February 28 • 10am to 6pm
where: 46249 Warm Springs Boulevard
           Fremont, CA 94539
           +1-510-683-8804
           Map: http://www.nichols-motorsports.com/index.php?option=com_contact&view=category&catid=0&Itemid=3

Join us for a day of fun, food, and refreshments!

Come meet our friendly and knowledgeable staff, including the fine folks from our service facility, Nichols Sportbike Service. Representatives from several major manufacturers will be on-hand to talk with you about their latest and greatest products.

You’ll find lots of great gear for both scooterati and motorcyclists, including Rev’It!, Firstgear, Corazzo, Armadillo, Fieldsheer, Shark, Sparx, Vemar, Nolan, Suomy, and more.

You’ll also find hot deals on just about everything in the store, and we’ll be giving away lots of cool stuff.

We are pleased to offer the full line of Kymco motor scooters, from the 50cc Sento to the 500cc Xciting 500Ri—and everything in between.

Whether you ride, or are just considering it, we hope to see you here!

ciao rob -

have not seen the entire inventory, so can't advise positively ... suggest you give them a call to find out.  moe is pretty cool, and should be able to advise what they have in stock at present.

a presto,
johnc

I got their flyer in the mail yesterday too.  I'll try to swing by.

Do you know if they are keeping their service business in Milpitas or is that moving too?  I've got a buddy at work who may come join the festivities, but needs to get some work done on his bike as well.

Please gang -- if you have an event or ride, post up in the calendar thread and it'll get added.  I can't do all the legwork.

I hope to attend if I can.  I'm curious if Jim Davis will be there to discuss service issues.

Gotta remember to go to Fremont and not Milpitas.

jim, josh and mike all still work out of the milpitas location, where nichols sportbike service is still located.

the fremont location is the scooter shop, nichols motor sports.

I hope to attend if I can.  I'm curious if Jim Davis will be there to discuss service issues.

From what I gathered from their site, you can drop off your bike/scooter at either location.

If the engine is less than 50cc's it's still okay.  The Aprilia SR-50 scooter is a 2-stroke and pretty cool looking for a scooter.  But it feels awfully weak if you ride one after getting off of a Ducati.
