Hmmm...my Multi project will be done by then, and I already have Miller WSBK tickets.  [coffee]

Not sure if the potential prizes are worth the hassle of taking the bike from Seattle to SLC though (we intended on flying).  :-\

Disappointing that there is not a Monster category...  I guess water cooled Monsters would slip in with either the modified (assuming yours is modified) or wildcard categories?  I feel slighted or something. lol

Everybody knows, if it's not air cooled its not a real Monster.  [evil]

On a personal level, I'm a bit torn about this.  The only reason I'd go to GP this year would be to see if the M1000SS could get picked for the Sunday competition.  But it wasn't built to be a show bike and I don't maintain it like a show bike.  I ride it, beat the shit out of it, and don't pay thousands to repair stupid blemishes like paint or scratches.   And while it wasn't built for anyone but me, I'd still get a bit resentful when the billetest, carbonest, paintedest, catalogest bike was picked (as with MC II).  That said, I'd like to have other folks see it cuz I think it's pretty neat.  Mebbe Stu will "borrow" it for the weekend.

All that dithering aside, I'm glad Ducati is doing this.  It'll get people involved and there'll be some really f'n cool bikes at these events.   [thumbsup]   [moto]
Occasionally AFM #702  My stuff:  The M1000SS, a mashed r6, Vino 125, the Blonde, some rugrats, yuppie cage, child molester van, bourbon.

At least it has a trellis frame. [evil]  But I suppose I'll have to leave this bastage parked out in the cold with the Hondas and the Streetfighters.  [evil]   lol

If you're bringing an air cooled Monster to Barber, you better bring your "A" game.  [evil]
