i hope i dont offend anyone, but you brought up genies & i have a story....

so my pseudo-nephew jared (friends kid) is part indian like from india.. not the feather kind (i can say that because im almost half the feather kind) :) ...anywayzzzz jared is 13 & has a half brother matthew who is 6 & not indian..

one day, i have jared & matthew in the car with me & there is a family in a mini van who were obviously from india. the passenger is an older gentleman, wearing a turban & a pair of glasses.. i look over & see them & say to jared "hey there's your peeps" jared & matthew look over at the mini van & matthews eyes get super big & he says, in all seriousness, "is that a genie??!!?? i wish for a horsie!!!" ...everyone starts laughing!! the laughter starts to die down after a minute or two & i can see matthew is thinking.. then he says "wait a minute!!! what kind of genie wears glasses???!!!??"  [laugh]

so now i always tease jared & tell him he's 1/4 genie :)
