cat got your tongue?

If you define "cat" as bad sleep this month and too much going on, then why yes, the cat (let's make it a very large feline) does indeed have my tongue.

Last to fold was the washer this past weekend.  Laundry is piling up.... little time to do it before leaving on Friday and now all the smoke detectors are randomly going off this morning.  (Dogs love that noise too.)

I would not like it if my washer died  Cry  Better stock up on some 9 volt batteries!

Our condo has a rental cap in the bylaws and one of 2 dimwits voted for it! The other bought after it was in place. We can only have 20% of the 176 units rented at once. With the economy like it is, the need to rent is there and the wait list is at +25 and not moving. We did a building audit and found about 6 illegal rent situations. All but 2 owners moved them out with out much fuss. We are fining them $2,000 a month and have responded to the suite.

Our biggest issues right now is the crackheads hanging out in the commercial unit doorways.

Although the state is literally on fire, we don't have enough smoke here in the city to cause the hard wired detectors to be going off.  They have battery backup.  They're not chirping as if the batteries are dying and need to be replaced. Just going off then stopping (as soon as I get on a chair to investigate).

Gremlins.

I'm fairly certain that when the 100 y/o house was remodeled, they did a poor job of rewiring.  Recessed lights in kitchen and the front porch light constantly have to be replaced.  Doesn't seem right to me.

Still warm and dry here!  Been doing the Elaine Benes rain dance to no avail.   Wink

Good luck w/the rentals and owners Mary!!!!

Gotta run.  Enjoy the day!

Even if I did leave my stinky socks, he wouldn't be there to enjoy them since he's gone every week.

He did have someone come out on saturday and confirm that the machine needs a new motor which is on order and scheduled to replace the old one on 4/6.  Not much to do until then but complain on the dmf.
