went to the Doc today to get a read-out on my blood

wife nagged me into it

Liver-excellent,

blood sugar-normal

BP 130/80

Lungs clear (closing in on a year w/o smoking)

EKG- Excellent

etc etc

Me on cell: Hi lovey OK went and everything is fine

Wife: Really? that's excellent

Me:  LPL down 30 points since 2006

Wife: Unbelievable, what are you doing now?

Me: Heading to the French Bakery for a Carrot Cake, need anything?

Wife: I hate you

Counter girl at French Bakery:  Can I help you?

Me: Yes I would like a carrot cake

Counter girl: Would you like something written on it?

Me: Yes, write ALL MINE in caps

Day turned out better than I thought......
This is an insult to the Pez community

I've got my weigh in for the semi annual PFA (Physical Fitness Assessment) today. Sad that given that I am in pretty good shape I am only a few pounds away from my MAXIMUM weight of 186...

dragged the Yellow Dog out of the garage today....haven't looked at it in like 6 or 8 months

pulled back the high-idle, turned the key and hit the button, two cranks and its up and running

went for a short ride...gonna prep it for the season this weekend

and try to do more riding this year...that bike is a trooper

When I reached the age that blood pressure numbers were important...

anything over 90 ish was fine...

then they changed the rules,,,and you 'needed' to be under 90...preferably  close to 80...with a top number around 140

so they changed the rules again...and now they want you to be closer to 130 over 70...

that's a box this kid doesn't fit into. ;D

You'd be surprised at how much a little exercise will help lower that. Even at your highly advanced age!
