dood....

it's been raining since Saturday...

and it's cold.

It was 90 degrees in NOLA most of the time I was there.

I got off the plane in a short sleeve shirt and shorts.

no thank you, I have a wall and ceiling with the insulation torn out at the moment. Intentionally done on a cool week with the hope of having it back together before the heat returns

If I want hot and humid, there's always Darwin.

Nope, I likes my 4 seasons.  Sometimes they occur all on the same day.

But recently, theres no ambiguilty.  It's winter.   Cold, windy, wet.

The weekend in Tahoe was awesome (except that Stella was absent).

Absolutely perfect weather for the Century yesterday.

The ride went well.  I wasn't quite as fast as the last time I was there, but I felt better (and still do) afterwards.

I guess the weather gods were smiling on us, as it became quite windy as I was leaving there this morning at 10:20AM, and there was snow on the top of Spooner Summit (along the ride course) this afternoon.

All told, over $5M was raised for LLS at this event.
