I iced several times yesterday.

I have ice on there now. It helps.

I occasionally hurt my back - never lifting or doing hard work, usually doing something innocuous like tying my shoe laces - I find the best fix for me is to be mean to it.  I force myself to go split fire wood...  I take it easy, but after a while I forget about my back and by the time I've had enough axe-swinging.... my back is much better.   Weird I know.

I usually hurt mine doing something fairly innocuous...like bending or trying to use my legs as levers.

What's strange is I remember the last time I went to the cruncher.

It was about 8 years ago. I had gone pretty regularly for a long time. I have a couple of vertebrae that look like sea urchins from a high school football injury.

I attribute this incident to not riding this season...or maybe the load of wood I cut and loaded the other day...or maybe the boiler I bent down to stand up...

or maybe just being a little...
