when i was doing 18 hr days he was home by 6:30

last week he has been leaving the house by 4:30 am most mornings
a lot of this time is spent driving to job sites

just went outside for a stroll through the yard, to see if there is any damage from yesterdays severe weather and i have to say...

it's a beautiful day!
cool and crisp, sunny and a bluer than blue cloudless sky!

i'm going to make us some breakfast then gear up and get out

If it stays dry today Seattle will have gone 49 days without rain!     It is in the forecast these next few days. 

Headed out to breakfast at 0900 with the in-laws. Then baby stuff shopping for the sister-in-law.
Plus my favorite cousin is moving to Seattle! Maybe this should be in the NOGAS thread

Heading to Biltmore Estate around lunch to do the "Butler's Tour" which was formerly known as the Behind the Scenes tour, and a wine & chocolate tasting!

and me just got electricity back since yesterday . ..  my cell died, no modem no router . .. and today I was servicing the Suzuki Swift ... and then a neighbor drove by asking me about his car . ..  uses a carb . . . yup fix and running . . . still haven't forgotten how to do those it seems


Everybody, I am fine, a trafo blew up yesterday, I used as much as I could the cell phone to surf and do the rest . .  I am drinking now . . .
