First...

His apprentice ran two lines underslab and screwed both of them up.

My washer drain isn't in the wall, and the box for the shower drain is in the hall closet.

So...when they came to start to do the 2nd floor rough I explained how the slab was the finished floor and they needed to be careful. He, the apprentice who is now a licensed plumber, was goofing around making like he was going to spill glue or primer...haha.

So he couldn't figure out how to get his pitch on the drain from the upstairs bath and asked if he could drill through the flange on an I-joist. I explained if he did they'd be replacing the I-joist. Jim and I showed him where he went wrong. So he's drilling with a 4" hole saw. He stops and point the drill towards the floor and the hole saw falls out.

My reaction wasn't pretty. After I finished screaming about how a make the beast with two backsing license should know how to tighten a drill chuck I just walked away before I said something I'd regret.

Otherwise...nuthin'

We built a house a few years ago (had one built) and the quality of workmanship was terrible! Not just one trade either, all of them. We never lived in that house! Priced it accordingly and sold it! Was our dream block and dream design!

This house, our first one finished from front to back! And we are never moving ever again! Love it!
