Mornin' folks!  I might not ride this weekend and do the 30,000 mile service that's coming due for Molly.  I'll just block off most of Saturday and Sunday.  That and buy lots of beer or rum to get through the job  [laugh]

I need a pep talk to 'TiNi, but just because I'm worn out.  I feel like that old, worn out diesel chugging up the hill at 3MPH pouring black smoke...

Yep, heading home early tomorrow morning.
Is Dave going to take a day off this weekend?

Good Morning, DMF!

Chilly ride in the canyons this ning, chilly enough that I wish I would have been wearing something other than the perf jacket - but will be warm this afternoon that I will want it.

What to do, what to do.

Bambi's out in force today.  Seems late in the year to be seeing so many very small ones - lots still with spots.
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Yes, they are everywhere.  A good friend hit one with his Honda ST 1300 last week.  Thankfully that bike weighs so much; the deer just messed up the right front fairing and didn't lead to a get-off.

I 'm weary about riding a dawn/dusk for that reason.  We even get the occasional stray deer in the city.   :-\
