Irish whisky is an acquired taste....if you don't harbor rebellion sentiments, Bushmills is a better choice of the genre

if ordering Irish Whisky in an Irish Pub do NOT ask for Bushmills if you don't see a bottle of it on the back-bar shelf

Saw your Luksukowa (?) on the shelves.....   but I wouldnt know what to do with it... other than skull it Russian style.  Serving suggestions?

I've never had Irish whisky before.... and its local advocate assured me that "it tastes nothing like Scotch Whisky".   But the sense of smell is very evocative.  And the association I have..... isnt a happy one  .

Luksusowa...If I'm mixing which I typically do with that stuff I use Fresca.

If I'm not, I like olives, and plenty of olive juice...my martini's aren't dirty...they're filthy.

Vodka...I recall asking my younger sister what was the cheapest vodka on the market these days (as I was checking her into the county hospital dry-out tank)

she said Murphy's....I said IRISH vodka?....she laughed and said sure Potatoes!!

no it means make the beast with two backsing hell! Not getting cranky, should have worded it better.....it is friday and my ridiculously expensive bottle of cheap bourbon is emptying at a great rate of knots!
