Weather but my mate is still down, his small bowel is distended with fluid and air from his op so waiting to see the surgeon this morning!

Hope things go well for him.

Cooling down.

Temps around 40 during the day and 20's at night.

Been pretty mild so far.

hey gang :)

just got back from a little weekend getaway  [thumbsup]
we spent the night at our friends
it was fabulous!

we all cooked dinner last night together
and i switched things up a bit and tried some new things
bourbon and then rye
they weren't at all like a martini  [laugh]

got up this morning and made bagels from scratch
bloody mary's with breakfast

and lastly a much needed 4 mile hike from all the eating and drinking

good times  [thumbsup]

i hope everyone else also enjoyed their weekend

sorry to hear about rats' jumbled up insides... feel better soon :)

Humid as all hell today after the storms over the weekend, golf ball size hail, trees down and areas flooded but just a typical Queensland summer storm really.
