Ning. I did my holiday cards yesterday. From getting them to mailbox took 3 weeks  :-\

Dry here right now, but more rain is on the way. We are about 10 degrees warmer then usual.

We were asked to write our job description at work. Coffee Sanitation Engineer and Color Guard is what I sent in!

More Ning. [coffee]

Sitting at work watching the most amazing sunrise.

Camera in phone just doesn't capture the whole effect.
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

I saw that very nice sunrise on my way to the airport this morning.  It was spectacular, and pictures do not do it justice.

However, I must have slowed my speed a tad too much admiring the sunrise.

I arrive at the baggage drop kiosk 1 minute too late for my flight.   [bang] [bang]

So now I sit at the airport for three hours until the next flight.

1 Minute?  Seriously?

That sucks!

Evening.

10pm and the front and back doors are still open to allow the cooler night air inside. But there is no breeze, just humidity.

Sorry  8)

I want to trade houses for a week.

Yup.  I was told if you're a second late, you're out of luck.

No manual overrides.  No voluntary separation of baggage.

But I think they bumped someone off the next flight to get me on it.

Well I am for certain riding bareback on the wild weasel of uncertainty

My throat issue is a bigger one than everyone had originally thought

thanks to a PET-CT scan done on Tuesday.........PETs are the final all-seeing, all knowing arbiters of all shit

radioactive injection with sugar.....cancer cells run fast so the sugar they consume heats them up more than normal cells and the radioactive stuff

glows more or something and the scanner picks up the heat signatures

talk about pulling a loose thread on a knit sweater

we knew we had the rabid spot in my gullet, seems PET scan found a second hot spot in my neck by my trachcea

and sure as shit some of my lymphs are in the game as well as what was a small cyst the CAT showed on my liver

so my Sloan surgeon told me he was suspending the laparoscopic staging and endo-ultrasounds etc

and he has to hand me off to the Oncology Team

as we are not dealing with a localized problem anymore...a bigger war needs to be fought

we aren't just chemo/radio zapping a local bad spot and cutting after they kill it

kinda like a whole new different set of cocktails and radiations are required and coming up

so no time for the chardonnay cure, they will be breaking out the Wild Turkey 101 treatment

make the beast with two backsing unbelievable string of shit news....

but the doc said the RAT's attitude has been one he rarely sees in his line of business, that my age/health/constitution are otherwise good (I love irony)

and if I respond well to the bombardments there are potentially good outcomes

we'll see how this one plays out and I will drag your collective sorry ass(es) along for the ride

Right now I just want them to shrink the originating make the beast with two backser in my throat so it opens up again and I can go get a hamburger or 12

I need food if I am going down this trail, and right now I am still on liquids...

weight is still plus 15 lbs over my desired weight so I can go another week or three before I go under-weight

Waiting for the Oncology Team to schedule me in for a consult and menu...probably next week

I mean hey what's the hurry?  >:(
This is an insult to the Pez community
