Morning, happy new  year . ..

I made past midnight til bout 0230h . .  and woke up at 0800h to walk the dogs . .

had some coffee, bread, chorizo from the paella . . .made me some fried pork . . .and now, enjoying some more coffee .  . .

OK, thanks . . did not notice that . .  but, why is it most everyone says "stay away from 800s" is the engine no good or not worth the  extra cc compared to 620 or 750[ie] . . .

Based on my butt dyno, The 800 has a bit more top end power.  The 750 feels smoother through the revs and may be close to the 800 in torque numbers.  The 900 is a hoot to ride, plenty of bottom end torque and pulls smooth all the way to the limiter.  I wouldn't be afraid to buy an 800 myself.

In the Monster, the 800 is awesome! (over 50k miles of research to validate this opinion)
