True. We now have a motorcycle range at work. This means that the contract instructors are there teaching during the week. They come hang out in our work area, talk to the 2 MC office worker guys and are loud. They also go through the MC class kit creation table if they think they need something. On top of that, they keep propping doors open. Our electricity bill is BIG. No raises big. I find their actions disturbing to my work. We are in cubes in a big open space. They have a classroom and break room to hang out in.  And today, one of them came and got the flag off my desk and hung it. That's my job!

I do not feel that management takes my concerns seriously. Said so in an email. Basically was told to shut the make the beast with two backs up by our CEO. I was also told that my direct boss was scared to talk to me about it because she thought I would turn whatever she said back on her.

I can not help it if I am smarter then she is. The rest of the office feels the same way but won't say anything because MC is the golden program. Chris and Monty do no work while they bs and we have to pick up the slack.

I am taking a week off and with weekends it will total 10 days. I can not wait.

Work would be great if I was out of the office more. Teaching is what I am good at. Really good at. Students say things like: "I would pay more to take the class from Mary" "Fabulous! Best class ever" "Best instructor so far. Have her teach everything". I could go on. The last one is my most recent favorite. It was from a class I taught at work as a contractor. Our director of training and Al, our second full time trainer, teach the Safety & Health Specialist classes. I filled in for Al who was out sick. The students take 15 classes and pay about 3K for the certificate and two said I was the best.

Instead, I spend most of my time at my desk doing boring desk work. I am teaching another S&H class at work as a contractor this Thursday. I registered the students, mailed the confirmation letters, made the class binders, did all the associated paperwork, will teach the class, and then do the post class financials. I am like one stop shopping!

I really do feel like I suck as an employee. I get bored easily and that is not good.

You should get a job at a saw mill pulling green chain for a while. That will shift your perspective about boring.
