The Jeep will be what it is. If I get enough major systems replaced it will be like new! If I did not have to drive to work I could get away with out a car.

these 3 years I've been working sort of "me being my boss" under contract from another company . ..  usually there is a vacation somewhere in there, but it has been non-stop, if not under contract then at the shop[which is not closed but only operates Saturdays] . . .

I could ask for vacation, but, at this time, we're in the middle of new software deployment so, tech support is needed to either, 'teach' or 'fix' or just 'do it'.

I have never felt like this, that's why I'm assuming I'm close to being burned out . . .

There's never a right time to take a vaca as far as corporate is concerned.

Finished all the scary siding today.

A little paint on the trim flats and we'll take down the staging and trim the porch roof, side the gable end of the sunroom, and roof the porch...

Wait in line at stop lights and traffic jams like everyone else. Motorcycles are always riding between cars to get to the front. I wish I had the balls (or a shitty car) to do it, but saw a guy in a work pickup trick open his door on one of those impatient assholes once. Hilarious...

Sorry...I just have it out for motorcycles ever since (and I posted it here) I was pulled over by a cop for speeding (maybe 70 in a 55) directly after like a group of 4 or 5 motorcycles passed the cop and myself while we were still moving doing at least 100mph weaving in and out of traffic. So for the preferential treatment, I despise motorcycles

You don't have to take it personally. I'm sure you are a law abiding rider, but you have to admit that there are people unlike yourself who take unsafe advantage. If you are not one of them, then you should not be offended. You said yourself that it is illegal everywhere but California here in the US. We're not in California. You are assuming that everyone is cautious like you, but an unsafe driver is an asshat whether they are on a bike, in a car or driving a tractor trailer. We all at times make road blunders and are guilty of not following the law all of the time, but the sense of entitlement that some cyclists have is uncalled for. Like a group of them going 100mph or faster and weaving in and out of traffic all over I95 for instance. When I was going around 70 and was pulled over I was not weaving in and out inches away from cars, which could easily cause an accident, but was keeping up with traffic and was even being passed by a few other cars, which had nothing to do with the motorcycles, but still annoying as well.

i really hope he doesn't try to talk to me at the next gathering for that group. I will go off on him. possibly using my hands

So glad to be home. Won't get the Jeep back till tomorrow. $450 for a new radiator.

Work sucked today. Glad it is after 5 tomorrow is hump day!

well . . . wife cooked lunch again, yes, she cooks lunch in the evening so that she can have it to take to work . .  I do it, when I am going to eat . ..

we are in a drought state right now, very very few scattered rains, lakes levels are coming down, school's have been closed for the reminder of the week, government offices now are working 0730~1330h . . . so, less will get done . . . electricity blackouts might become the norm for the next few days/weeks . . . need to purchase at least 2 UPS one for my laptop one for my router/modem . . fuel prices will go up, so electricity will also go up . . . weird weather all over the world . . . this will not be good for me and my job . . .

Well, I wanted the 3s, said they were in stock, went at lunch. Oooooh, yeah, about that. The front 3 we had in stock is actually a 2, we don't have the 120/70/17 3 in stock right now.

So, since I was already there burning my lunch hour I opted for the 2s.

Got a 10% discount (still didn't beat the online price, but trying to keep it local) and the difference between these and the old tires are night and day.
