hello, I am here, not for long, just saying hello and see ya later . . .

Oh, forgot to mention, received bad news, it seems the previous owner of the 998 has placed an "Unlawful appropriation legal resource" so bike has to go to the DA's impound, I think, that's the last time I'll see it in a decent shape . . . Suddenly he wants the bike back and states he has never been contacted by the shop in order to take care of bills . . . weird, he and his wife were fighting the "too high" invoice almost 3 years ago and left the bike at the shop, by contract, after 90 days, the shop can dispose of it to cover expenses, the shop gave him almost a year and a half to come clean instead he avoided all calls, didn't answer emails and wife wanted to sale bike to me when the bike was already in 'legal' possession of the shop; I am very very angry at this time regarding this issue. An ADA made an annulment of "ALL" legal paperwork that was prepared and submitted, now the shop owner says he'll fight back the decision . . . until further notice, the 998 will remain in my signature

I had a chat about my "tone" when asking people why they aren't doing the job they know they're supposed to do.

If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

My first car ended up having a similar lean on it. I was notified when I tried to register it. The car never left my possession, I just needed to file paperwork with the DMV. Of course, the law varies state to state. This was in cali.

he's saying "we[shop & me]" stole the bike and forged the paperwork to gain possession of it

Similar was true with my car. In my case the dishonest used car dealership did not have proper ownership. In CA the law protects the new owner from seizure of the vehicle.

You'd get the opposite 'chat' here...

like "why are those useless pieces of shit still working here?"

Isn't California great? ;D

How well does the shop owner have things documented...or does it not matter?

It did a lot of that here the past few days. Had to put the heat back on. Temps back to 30s and 40s.

I'm making chips at the moment.

Yeah...low 40's right now and a fire in the stove.

It's just plain raw.

It's looking like this summer will be much different from last.

I don't even remember last summer. Was it hot as hell?  I think it was, wasn't it?

The months all blend. Hard to believe I've almost had the shop in the new building a year and the shop itself is over two years old now.
