I don't even remember last summer. Was it hot as hell?  I think it was, wasn't it?

The months all blend. Hard to believe I've almost had the shop in the new building a year and the shop itself is over two years old now.

Miserably hot and humid at Ft Leavenworth.

Home for a month to battle fires in the hot and dry.

I remember last summer.
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

<snip>
How well does the shop owner have things documented...or does it not matter?

the secretary called only via cellphone so that calls would get "recorded" as made, so they appear in monthly statement, by law, 3 minimun, total calls made, 24; 18 emails, 12 delivered by messenger to his "recorded address" paper acknowledgments of "YOU OWE ME", 3 times I spoke with wife who was getting divorces, now back together [wonder if that has to do with hi position job in government?] . . .So, attempts to communicate were made, NON answered, once he got notice that bike was almost mine, shop had only to sign "pink slip" to me . ..  he shows up with this paperwork, calling me and the shop owner "thieves" . . .

Tractor parts on order   1961 ish Massey Ferguson Fe35. Group 31 batteries are pretty expensive.

Mower parts trickling in... 2000? Murray.

I'll look at the harrows some other time.

Jonesing ...strong need or desire

Murray parts are expensive here  :-\

My Greenfields ride-on mower is as sexy as a 1958 Soviet tractor... but its almost indestructible (gonna regret that, I just know) and parts for it are dirt cheap.

Morning Ddan.

The Murray needs a spindle rebuilt, and new blades...I keep hitting rocks and bending them.

Pretty sure it doesn't do the spindle bearings any good either.

Aftermarket parts are cheap here.

The Massey needs a battery and I'll change the oil and filters...it's waaaaay past time.

Hydraulic oil some other time.

morning Dan

Yup.  IIRC Murrays run a fixed full width blade, they would not like rocks.

A fixed disc onto which cheap flick-back blades mount is more tolerant of abuse IME.
