Even a small leak, over time, will cause issues.

Ice jams are caused by heat loss, and even on a steeper pitch will cause leaks...ask TiNi.

It's probably coming from the area where the pitch changes.

What you are seeing as a small leak could be only the water that makes it through all the layers.  Depending on the type of foam, it could be absorbing a lot of water before you see it inside.  At the very least, you should keep the roof clear of ice so the melt water doesn't back up the roof.

I had two [drink] and no dinner.   Listening to a friend grieve over the death of his middle son.  Dinner wasn't important.

And yes, it's just so wrong for a parent to bury their kids.  In this case, an incredibly devastating, senseless tragedy at the hands of a drunk driver. 



Just another reminder to celebrate and enjoy what we have.


On that note, I'm riding my bike to work today.  And by force of habit, I schlepped the 42 lb work laptop home w/me yesterday.  I see a back and shoulder massage in my near future.
