Nice shots RB!  It's nice to see the other coast through the eyes (lens) of a DMF'r!

Seems as if a denser wood is in order.

Law 6: The bat. The bat is no more than 38 inches (97 cm) in length, and no more than 4.25 inches (10.8 cm) wide. The hand or glove holding the bat is considered part of the bat. Ever since the Heavy Metal incident, a highly publicised marketing attempt by Dennis Lillee, who brought out an aluminium bat during an international game, the laws have provided that the blade of the bat must be made of wood (and in practice, they are made from White Willow wood).

Nowhere does it specify a type of wood. [evil]

I choose hickory. ;D

Day off Carlos?
it's Sunday last I checked . . . ;D [but if I had things to do at the shop, which I do, I would be there]

tomorrow too, due to the 28th being the Independence from Spain, but, the day off is given on the following Monday to make it a long weekend and help 'internal' tourism and business in general . . . I have no days off, today is work at home . . . and on the M620 from a customer, the electrical bug is killing me [bang]

Cute! My Lucy would make a good hospital and old folks home visitor dog after she grows up a little.

Stella

Awwww, now that's a little Lucy!

BIG pot of coffee ready.  Debating on going for a swim yet this morning, barre class at 11:15, or make bacon now and get boys out for hike after it warms up a little....

It was a rhetorical debate in my head.  Getting bacon out now.   ;D

In other news, we found a woman slumped over in her running car yesterday (windows rolled up).   Really glad she wasn't dead yet.  Quite out of it when we woke her up although not sure that she was technically taking a nap.  Mall police (shocking, yes, we were at a mall) knew of her and took over.  A bit of a sad deal.

Rib eye in the oven?

What's the process?

if you have cooked filet mignon just follow the same preparation steps and instead of pan frying do it in the oven, then cover with the sliced pepper and onions  rings until desired "doneness" . . .for the pasta, just cook it al dente and in a pan put some olive oil, garlic cloves either minced or mashed some fresh ground peppercorns, julienne colored peppers and then toss the pasta, stir fry for about a minute and voila lunch is ready to be served . . . in my case, wash it down with a Belgian White Ale . . .
