How's the urethane business? Did the roller work any better?

Doubled my output.

All the long stuff is done except for the culls. There's a couple hundred feet.

I'll work on the 8's today.

Then I need to decide if I really want to lug all the culls back...

hand pick replacements...

and urethane them 2 coats.

I figured 1900 feet and ended up with 2068. The 1900 was really generous I think, and I don't want a couple hundred feet of urethaned pine left over.

I may just return what I cull out and pick out replacements if I need them.

Does that sound like a plan, or should I plan on having stuff I can't use anywhere else?

Re-check your measurements and get a real number, 10% over should be more than enough for waste and cutting out defects.  You could get creative and use up leftovers somewhere, like wainscoting an accent wall,  closet shelves will eat up a surprising amount of material, you'll need some stuff for the freezer enclosure...

I already have some wainscoting for the breakfast bar wall. It's some stuff a homeowner on the lake didn't like after it was stained dark. I was planning on paining it. I think it's maple.

I suppose I could use leftovers flipped over as v groove for shelving.

The freezer is not getting enclosed. I'm thinking a curtain or bi-fold on the opening. That will be the access to the well tank. If the tank ever has to come out the freezer will have to come out too.

I will re-check my numbers. The guys that helped me lug it in looked up and said 'so you're going to need more?' :P

Looks good Ramjet!

Morning!  Putting up the last two Christmas trees today, #9 and #10.  Tallest tree is outside and only 6ft.  Rest are 3 or 4ft indoor trees.  Tallest decoration is the 7ft LED Eiffel Tower.

What kind of steaks are those?

Pork Shoulder.
Its been marinading in a West African tamarind sauce for the past 5 days.
Its an experiment.  As soon as I tasted the stuff, I knew it had to be paired with pork shoulder and smoke.
Its sweet with a good spicy bite.
Should go well with the mellow Pecan smoke.
Can't wait for noon!
