a foot of snow has melted in the last 24hrs.

mike and i are making lasagna's for xmas eve dinner
starting today with the sauce and meatballs

btw - the wizard of oz was my favorite movie as a kid :)
do u think a 7yr old can handle it? because i'd love to watch it with my nephew.

...and Mrs Ung is asleep (she hasnt been sleeping well lately) so I dont want to venture down there to turn it off.

Crazy weather here.  Last night about 10:00, it was so warm you could have mistaken it for a hot August night, aside from seeing Christmas decorations everywhere.  Then, the winds came.  I'm sure there are a lot of damaged trees, outdoor Christmas decorations, etc out there.  Crazy gusts of wind  that howled past the house.

Farm fresh eggs and [coffee] for brekki.
