Off to dinner with the date in a few, then BB King!  Won the tickets weeks ago and now the concerti is here  :)

I was looking for a new place to live on cl and found a unit in my building for $750! Sent an email. It is less then 4 miles from here to the new job.

From memory you were tossing between Bosch and something else?

We have been running a Bosch appliance for over 2 years now and it has been a cracker!

Bosch and Miele are on the list for DW.

I'm thinking LG for washer dryer.

I was thinking Bosch for the range until T and I looked at some of the higher end ranges. She really liked the Viking and Wolf.

No clue on a fridge, or a Microwave/Hood.

Sounds like a headache!  ;)

We have a Bosch DW, DeLonghi range (which overheats?? [bang]) but we will soon be in the market for fridge and washer and are undecided. Don't need a dryer here.

Need to start a "What appliances are you running" thread.....to see what works and what doesn't! Probably not!

Wouldn't be a terrible idea. There was a recent thread about dishwashers, which is where I got the Miele brand from.

Water and power efficiency will be the key points for us followed by features. Both power and water prices have sky rocketed in the last couple of years and the Bosch suited both those criteria but our old fridge is not overly economical and the washer sounds like a Rolls Royce turbine every spin cycle and is not worth repairing again!
Samsung have made a bit of a push in the appliance department here and price isn't bad just have to see how their reliability stacks up!
