Instant is still the mainstay here in most households , but not mine. That's despite the excellent cafe culture here. We are a frontier society though, but It's changing.
Unge sits on his porch way down South of me here, whittlin', polishing his double barrel and drinking iced tea, but don't tell him I said that.

No make the beast with two backsing instant so-called coffee in this southern household.  And cafe culture?  I enjoyed our Easter break in Apollo Bay.... but I was glad to get home to get good coffee.  You can keep the fluid, just gimme the goods.  We have a stainless stove top like yours too.... but I like using the machine not just for the coffee but also for the satisfying noises it makes  .

But that's for the other end of the day.

Hello . . . yes, late again . . .

woke up at 1000h  yes, shocked, I just slept and woke up . . . question is, why ?

now, having a look at why the Suzuki Swift is leaking copious amounts of 5W40 oil at rates of up to 2.5lts/week . . . and found it, oil filter base is cracked, how it happend? dunno . . . This calls for dealership since I wont have the time to perform this job ..

went to see Noah last night, I was really really bored and almost fell asleep . . . very very "slow" movie, didn't see the hype around it . . .

of to continue trying to put the car back together . .

 Speaking of coffee, last week was Airstream camping in Sacramento and drinking those instant coffee like product from Starbucks. Happy to be home to my double Americanos from my La Pavoni lever machine.

I either brew my coffee Palo Alto in the auto brewer or use a cloth sock to do it . ..  We only get crappy chinise imitations of espresso brewers from china . . . That's why I am saving to get me one of these:
