Friday was working in the shed, doing rehab and stuffing around tweaking the propane system on my Fairmont. Runs beautifully now. They made systems for the models before and after it, so the system I got is a hybrid job that is only ok.

Yesterday was glorious.

Sunny, dry, breezy and upper 70's.

I think I'll be finishing with the chemicals today.

Have to do some sanding to feather edges in entryways...didn't strip the bath or any closets.

Then a massive cleanup to get any residue removed.

I can see the light at the end of the tunnel...I hope no one goes and gets more tunnel

Yep. Terrifying handling in the wet when both tanks are full. 
Straight 6. Got a longer stroke than a 351. Real grunter. Has done 307,000kms and still going strong. It's happier on petrol though. I got it going pretty well on gas I mean propane.  It's the smoothest its been in awhile so I'm happy.

I had a dual fuel Falcon wagon....  years ago....   3.9 straight 6...  

Was always happier on petrol than LPG.

The dedicated LPG Falcon I had before the diesel Mondeo was a huge improvement.  Its the compromise tuning that's the issue IMO.

Haha I had Kelly Terra-grips on mine.....couldnt wear the bastards out!  I had two sets of rims, one for trips and one for grip!

Lot's of folks told me to ignore it and move forward.

There is no perfection in this world, but I couldn't look at what I had done every day and have been satisfied with it...

it'd drive me nuts and be assured that is a very short trip.

So I did what I did for me...no one else.

Yeah I got the tune about as good as I can for both fuels. I played with the timing too.

Fair enough Nate. It's true that some things will drive you nuts every time they catch your eye, even if no one else sees them or cares. It is a sanity thing.
