The Appalachian mountains, I'm in the area that Deliverance was filmed.  Also near Deals Gap, where part of The Fugative was filmed.

I was quite young when I first saw Deliverance. I remember feeling a little uncomfortable.

There are plenty of park lands that are very nice and scenic.  It's full of mostly small towns and such.  There are also plenty of lakes in the area that both generate power and provide recreation and fishing.

I'm in North Carolina.  I'm at the very western edge, almost in Tennessee.  The Great Smoky Mountains National park is just minutes away and in both North Carolina and Tennessee.  Also, the southern end of the Blue Ridge Parkway is right in the county where I live.

The older I get, the further out of town I want to live. I grew up in the country and like being near the rural edge of the city. we are near beautiful country and great riding roads.

We plan to build on some family land out in the country.  It's basically the land of cows, corn and tobacco.  Same valley where I grew up.

I think he just sent the txt since we both would normally wake up about that time for work (shift starts at 0630)

he mentioned there was some email I needed to see, and that something else was due today.

last week was so frustrating (I had nothing to do... but write three emails) that it kicked my depression/anxiety into high gear, and I haven't been to work all week.
