She'll need to spend the day since she needs the meds to intravenously, doctor says I can go home and do whatever I need, she should be out of the clinic by 1600h but the treatment to continue at home . . . Kidney infection due in part for not drinking enough water, alone, she drinks lots of "lemon water" and iced tea, with lemon . . .

I'll go home, take a shower, do whatever I need to do via email, cook some lunch, dr says, soup NO salt pref, and get back to clinic and take her lunch . . .

Coworker has a fleet (12) of green eggs that he caters parties with.  Awesomely yummy smoked meats.  

Sometimes we get to fight over the left overs.

There are more expensive ones, but he does a lot of solar and uses this one... http://www.aptsurge.com/spdee-tvss-surge-protector.aspx It has an led indicator that either changes color or goes out when it is no longer effective.

@home cooking soup, NO salt, NO pepper, just veggies and very lean meat . . . should be here for a few hours before going back to pick her up and bring her home . . .

It is on my list. Sounds like its about a $500 job.

I didn't pay anywhere near that.

The one he installed is connected to the well breaker as that is the most likely source of a damaging surge from a lightning strike.

There may be other ways to connect it to protect from surges from the power grid, but that isn't typically an issue here.

I looked on line and the item he installed was $166. I think he sold it to me for his cost.

Thats a nice price. Last time I had someone come to install a new circuit it was about $550. But I will ask those guys.

This isn't a circuit though.

It installs in your existing panel with an internal connection.

It took him less than a 1/2 hour. His helper installed some plates and cleaned up some stuff left over on the porch.

Labor was $50

OK, home with Mrs. Onetrack . . . At 2000h I must inject 20ml of something into the IV . . . She's to stay home tomorrow and going back to work depends on tomorrow's follow up but must keep IV until doc says if it stays or goes  . . .
