I knew a guy a few years back, who gave up TV for about 6 months! He loved it.

Mrs GK's friend has cut right back on TV. Says mood has changed, sleep and health have improved!

I try not to watch much TV myself. Aussie rules footy, MotoGP when not too late and some V8 Supercars here and there!

I don't really like the news much. I watch the odd show here and there but nothing weekly.

Our TV is about a year and a half old, Sony 55 inch. Very nice, especially for movies.

Mrs and I now have a cheapie 42" DVD combo in the bedroom for watching the odd DVD on date night.

That works well, even though it was cheap.

Our gear here is always dearer than the US, you guys having much more competition and population and all.
