Not on my Monster.  I still have beautifully shagged out Conti Sport Attacks on my Monster. 

Dunlop Q2s go on next. 

I rebuilt the starter motor with new brushes and new aftermarket end cap with a proper bearing to eliminate the traditional DR "rooster squawk"...

and then worked out that all it was, was a dirty engine ground
