I was in such a fog this morning I didn't toss my backpack in the truck.  That is where my lunch resides.  Luckily I found a dusty Kind bar in my office, that'll have to do.  I am also out of coffee.  That's never good.

morning . ..  evening . . .

GK, nice you were able to procure locally . . .

For sure Carlos! It's good to support local business if you can.

ok, now, why do people call, make an appointment, then they don't call if they're late or not coming?

GK, I am on a "crusade" I will only eat at restaurants that are owned by locals . . . or franchises that are administered by locals . . .

I feel your pain.

Ive often grabbed a nice coffee from a colleague's machine before work the past 6 weeks or so.

On Monday he ran out if coffee! It wasn't pretty! Lol!

All good now though. Hope your world is back to normal soon too!

Nice one Carlos!

Are prices the same or same ish?

It's often hard to support locals if prices are much higher.

GK, for 0.3mts I paid $27.00US !!!

If you were asking about the restaurants, yes and no at the same time, some local ones are very high end and dinner for 2 can be no less than $60.00 while in others, dinner for 4 can the same $60.00 . . . franchises have about the same pricing as in the US . . . also, some "wannabe high end places" are just so because of location . . . the place is very nice, staff at times "overloads" you with "are you OK" . . but the food . . . the food, OMG, no more than 2 stars . . . when I go, I qualify in TripAdvisor and DeGusta . . . I've received emails asking me to give them a second chance . . . and I am just a simple guy that likes to eat ;D

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Nite Nate. But No-Ning..

So in light of the world series, I'm thinking of being a world traveler again. But instead of long plan rides to places way over the horizon like before, I think I will drive to several indian reservations and head up close to Canada. I might not visit Canada. This way I can hit 2 or 3 countries and call it good.  [thumbsup]
