Crank that you beaut boiler DP! Well in a few months anyway.

You did say that it took a while for the slab to get to temp IIRC.

It was cold for the GP...and windy.
Eh?  I remember it being unusually sunny and warm.  And windy.

Been reading much whinging form NSWers about the greetings they received from....  VicPol.  I can't comment without breaking DMF rules.  But I will say that..... there's a reason why I avoid such events... like the plague.  Plenty of.... good.... riding in VIC.  If you know where to go.  And where not (and especially when not).  Pushed my luck far enough on that one.

No hail in my suburb, but the other side (Eastern) of town is in a rain belt, so they cop more of such weather.

We have the heat on now. Thermostat in the main part of the house set at 67 the sunroom at 65

Last year when the boiler was first fired the slab was about 38 degrees. It took a while.

This year the boiler runs for a couple of hours around 4 am or so and doesn't run again all day. The sunroom hasn't called for heat.

I may have to tweak things to avoid the slab in the sunroom getting cold...and when I say cold I'm talking just below room temp.

I need an infra red thermometer to do some checking.

Sounds tricky to get the balance right.

Many houses here have zoned heating and cooling. Not ours though. Our setup is very low tech.

Maybe our next house...
