Ducks were very noisy down at the brook around dawn...

Seems the flock is smaller now...by two.

I think, by the small pile of feathers in their shed, that something got into them while they were in the shed before I went to close them in for the night...6 pm.

They spooked and went to the safety of the water. [/Supposition]

I hope they come back when they get hungry and before whatever it was comes back.
