I need to use a clock.

The sun will officially rise at 7:18.

It doesn't actually show itself from behind the hills and trees in this valley until almost 8:30.

It's raining again, so it doesn't matter...sun won't appear until Friday.

A clock?  Just arbitrary numbers on a dial.  You can twiddle the hands of a clock to indicate any meaningless so-called time you wish.

If it's dark Nate... it's night time.

If you need an instrument to tell you the time.... install a sun-dial  8)

I'd wager some bosses expect employees to be on the job based on the same criteria.

I don't know for sure about the boss thing. ;D

Pretty sure I mentioned that already.

So I dunno where your missing daylight went, I certainly don't have it.

Maybe try Buddhism.

Sunrise 7:18 sunset 16:14 here today.

In Melbourne sunrise 5:56 sets at 20:43.

I know you're not in Melbourne...but you're close.

Looks pretty disproportionate to me.
