Turns out today was not a good day for a ride.

Cager pulled out in front of us...

I was second in line...

I ran out of room in the swerve maneuver.

I just totaled a brand new 848...maybe.

me and the monster are kinda beat up too.

My clutch cover just about ripped the left rearset off my friends bike.

The police and medics came.

I refused a ride.

One of the emts gave me and my buddy a ride so he can get his truck and trailer to pick up the bikes.

Our other friend is with the bikes.

This sucks.

I'm just a little sore. ;)

I feel worse about the bikes.

My friend spends the winter in FL.

He takes his bike.

He leaves in 22 days.

The ins co may total it.

I have insurance so it's not going to be out of pocket.

I just feel bad that he'll be inconvenienced.

I'm also reconsidering the wisdom of street riding.

We weren't really going very fast.

One bike could have made it unscathed.

Just kinda pensive right now.

Glad you are ok Nate.  Bikes can be fixed.

Are you really "just a little sore", or are you being strong in order not to worry us?  ;)

Thanks everyone.

I wear gear for just this reason.

It's a good thing I had it on today.

My buddy ducvet was the third bike in line.

He's seen me crash before...going a lot faster.

He said he's never seen me hit harder.

Having been there every time...I'd agree. ;D

The emt in the bus checked me out.

I told him if he said I needed a ride I'd go.

He felt comfortable enough with his exam that I didn't have any broken body parts, although he did throw in the lack of x-ray eyes disclaimer.

I'll be fine.
